60 Seconds to Glory

YMCAs from across the state of Illinois are recruiting teams to compete in a basketball shot competition. Two-person teams strive to make the most points in 60 seconds. Team scores will be compared across the state and the two highest scoring teams in each age and gender category will compete during half-time of the IHSA State Basketball Championships in March  2026.

Girls and Boys Teams will compete in the following categories:

9U • 10U • 12U • 14U

Girls Championships: Saturday, March 7, 2026 in Normal, IL

Boys Championships: Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Champaign, IL

Date: Monday, January 5th, 2026

Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm

Where: Knox County Y Family Gym

Ages: 9U, 10U, 12U, 14U

Fee: $5 per person
